Anyone made responsible for the governance of
the affairs of the Muslims dies acting dishonestly towards them, Allah will
forbid Paradise for him.

157. Ma’qil ibne-Yasaar RadiyAllaahu ‘anhu narrates that he heard RasuulUllaah SallAllaahu ‘alaihi wa ‘alaa ‘aalihii wasallam saying: Anyone who has been made Ameer for the governance of the affairs of the Muslims, and he does not endeavour for their welfare, but he will not enter Paradise along with the Muslims. (Muslim)
158. Ma’qil ibne-Yasaar RadiyAllaahu ‘anhu narrates that RasuulUllaah SallAllaahu ‘alaihi wa ‘alaa ‘aalihii wasallam said: Anyone made responsible for the governance of the affairs of the Muslims dies acting dishonestly towards them, Allah will forbid Paradise for him. (Bukhaari)

Abu Maryam Al Azdi RadiyAllaahu ‘anhu narrates: I heard RasuulUllaah SallAllaahu ‘alaihi wa ‘alaa ‘aalihii wasallam saying: If Allah Azza wa Jall puts a man in authority of the affairs of the Muslims, and he turns his face away from their needs, destitution and poverty, Allah will turn away from his needs, and will not help him in destitution and poverty. (Abu Dawuud)
160. Hurairah RadiyAllaahu ‘anhu narrates that RasuulUllaah SallAllaahu ‘alaihi wa ‘alaa ‘aalihii wasallam said: If anyone made Ameer over ten or more persons does not deal with them equitably, he will come chained and handcuffed on the Day of Reckoning. (Mustadrak Hakim)
