Allaah SubhaanaHuu wa Ta'aalaa said to His Prophet Sallallaahu 'alaihi wa 'aalihii wasallam: When they listen to that which has been revealed to the Messenger; you see their eyes overflow with tears, because of their recognition of the Truth (in the Qur'an). Al-Maa-'idah 5:83 

Allaah SubhaanaHuu wa Ta'aalaa says:  And when the Qur'an is recited, give ear to it and pay heed, so that you may obtain Mercy. Al-'A'raaf 7:204 

Allaah SubhaanaHuu wa Ta'aalaa says: He (Allah's favoured bondsmen) said (to Muusa Alaihis Salaam): Then if you follow me (to acquire knowledge) ask me not about anything till I myself mention of it to you.  Al-Kahf 18:70
